Research Interests
My main interests in neuroscience include how voluntary movements are controlled by the brain. Research from the last 40 years or so has provided a lot of information about how different brain areas are active for a variety of different movements. Despite that, there are still several unanswered questions, such as how different types of neurons (within the same area) contribute to a movement, and subsequently what information these neurons are transmitting to their targets.
